Ciao a tutti
Cominciamo!
Costi: Alti. In 3, circa 2.500€.
D 11/6 – The Cotswolds – Volo ore 7.35 – arrivo 8.30 locali
Gatwick > Bibury (Arlington Row) 1 h 54 min (107 mi)
If you are visiting Bibury for the first time then you may be wondering where you can park your car. There is a limited amount of free roadside parking available on “The Street” and a small free car park opposite Bibury Trout Farm which now has two dedicated coach spaces. Out of season visitors to Bibury won’t have a problem parking, but visitors in the height of the season may have to wait for a vacant space at peak times.
Bibury > Castle Comb 52 min (30,6 mi)
There is a free public cark park at the top of the hill provided for visitors to the village. Although it is a little way to walk down the hill to the old village, it is a pleasent stroll under the trees and there is much to see on the way. There is limited parking on the hill itself, those who choose to risk the double yellow lines on the hill or in the village will be disappointed to hear that traffic wardens are a common sight even in rural areas such as this.

Valley of the Rocks> Mouth mill Beach & Blackchurch Rock (1h20)
Brownsham National Trust Car Park – EX39 6AN Brownsham Car Park
Distance: 4km
Duration: 2 hours
Walk grade: Moderate
Beach access: Easy
Directions: Head south out of Bideford on the A39 and, just after the Clovelly roundabout, take the right turn on the bend, signposted Hartland and Lighthouse. Turn right at the first turning to the lighthouse. Turn right twice more and you will arrive at Brownsham car park.
1 Come out of the car park on the far left and take the path that leads towards the woods. Go through the gate and into the trees, taking the path on your right. Follow this path for five minutes or so, then turn left onto a path that takes you down to a stream. Cross the footbridge, then turn right.
2 After another five minutes of walking, take the right-hand fork of the path downhill to the Coast Path. Turn right on to the Coast Path and follow it over the headland. Just after you exit another wood, turn left onto a track. This will take you down to Mouthmill Beach.
3 To continue with our suggested route, take the track from the beach up through Brownsham Wood, passing the track you came down on. When this joins another track, bear right, keeping the stream on your left. Continue along this track, and turn right on to another track at the top of the hill.
4 Walk through Lower Brownsham Farm, turn left onto a lane and then right into the car park

Visitare Lulworth Cove (15 min in auto) e Durdle Door (distano 20 min a piedi, ma noi l’abbiamo raggiunto in auto)
These natural wonders are very popular with tourists and can get very busy in the middle of the day. There is plenty of parking but even so, the best time to see them is at dawn or dusk with the sun just creeping along the horizon.
The walk from the Cove to Durdle Door is quite challenging especially for children or those of advanced years. The car park accessed through the holiday village at Durdle Door is much more convenient and will encourage you to walk further along the cliff top in the direction of Weymouth.
